A limited time product that Kyoto Katsugyu offers as a seasonal menu four times a year. So far, we have proposed various combinations such as “GYUKATSU and Unagi cutlet,” “GYUKATSU GYUKATSU and eel cutlet,” and “beef cutlet and bonito cutlet.” This is a popular series that continues to grow.

The long-awaited “Mackerel-Aji-Katsu” is now available at Kyoto Katsugyu!

We use "natural horse mackerel" which is extremely delicious even as sashimi.

The horse mackerel used this time is extremely fresh!
We only use thick, fatty natural horse mackerel from Tottori Prefecture that is harvested during the limited season, and are flash-frozen using a special technique called “high-concentration salt ice freezing.” We use high-quality horse mackerel that maintains its freshness as if it was caught on the spot and is extremely delicious even as sashimi.
By quickly frying at high temperatures, you can enjoy two textures at the same time: the outside is light and fluffy, and the inside is slightly rare and moist.

Refreshing with 3 kinds of condiments and special ponzu sauce

“Sirloin GYUKATSU and horse mackerel cutlet Zen” uses three luxuriously Our Policy horse mackerel fillets to create a hearty menu.
A shiso leaf is placed on fatty natural horse mackerel, and the breadcrumbs are made with a thin coating that has a light texture. Top with plenty of 3 kinds of condiments (myoga, green onion, onion) and enjoy refreshingly with our special ponzu sauce.
